I am thankful to be one of those people who get to paint for a career.
But besides it being immensely rewarding, what it means to be an artist is not entirely clear to me just yet.
The one constant throughout my advancement is that I see my paintings in my dreams.
If I get some time in the future, I may sit down and think about why this is.
For now, all I know is that I cannot not paint.
π (Pi) is one of the most important mathematical constants.
It is the ratio of any circle’s circumference to its diameter.
The fascination with the number’s simplicity and irrationality became so great that it gained popularity in the non-mathematical world and inspired me to create a group of multidimensional paintings on rolls.
I roll painted strips of canvas, forming each of them into a cylinder row.
Lined up alongside one another the curved nature of rolls alters the perception of the painting depending on the viewer’s positioning.
