Iskra Shahaj

Born in 1988 in Vlore (Albania), Iskra Shahaj spent her early life in this colorful city.

Interest for drawing and painting started since her childhood, when Mediterranean colors impress imagination and creativity.

In 2006 she graduated in Fine Art’s high school and then moved in Ferrara (Italy). In this ancient and lovely city she gained a degree in Conservation of Cultural Heritage and a Master in Geological Science...but never stop creating!

The human figure has been always the center of her inspiration; woman surrounded by melancholic and timeless interior scene and landscapes, waiting for someone... Remind distant memories grabbed on the canvas.

Painting is an individual act of creation which leaves an indelible mark on the artist, to be later shared and mark the observer.
